Fiber Optic Guide

Fiber optic converters extend the range of a hardline ethernet connection from the LED display to the on-site network. They do this by converting Ethernet to FIBER at the sign, then back to Ethernet again at the building/network location. The converter at the display is typically pre-installed inside the display, near the controller unless otherwise noted on the order. Note: Custom or special projects may have it installed in separate environmental enclosure outside the display.
